Q. How much does it cost?: A. Each message you send to 776776 costs $0.50 per message. Messages received from 776776 are free.
Q. What's a shortcode?: A. It's like a regular phone number, but shorter. The Score uses 776776 (PROPRO) so you don't have to remember and type 10 digits.
Q. What's a Keyword?: A. A Keyword is used at the beginning of your message to tell us what action you are trying to use. You can send chat messages without a keyword, but otherwise you will need to use one. For example, NICK to create a nickname (see the full list above).
Q. What mobile carriers does this work on?: A. All major wireless carrier in the USA and Canada support the 776776 shortcode. Keep in mind that in order to see your message on screen, you will have to be watching us on television. If you txt us a comment from a US carrier, we will receive your message but it won’t be processed for display on The Score TV.
Q. Can everyone see my phone number?: A. No. No one will see your phone number. Your personal information is completely protected. The only way someone can message you directly is through your nickname, which doesn't reveal your phone number. Don't forget, you can change your nickname at any time.
Q. What about UPPER and lower case characters?: A. Don't worry -- keywords and messages are NOT case sensitive, so you don't ever have to fiddle with capital letters. Phew!
